I’m sitting here…
I’m sitting here and you are sitting there, You’re telling me what’s happened since we met, And I am happy for I love to share all aspects of your busy life. And yet –Rebellious fingers yearn to stroke your face, Rebellious mind strays from your argument And dwells instead on thoughts of your embrace And memories of what our kisses meant. I try to concentrate, but cannot find much aptitude for logic when you’re near.
I’m sitting here….Oh, darling, surely you can read my mind? You’re sitting there and I am sitting here Just longing for the moment when you’ll say, With outstretched arms, ‘You’re rather far away.’
I Know why the caged birds sings. For the sign of hope that tomorrow brings.
I know why the caged bird won’t fly. Because he rests on the soul of life and if he flies away he will surely die.
But tell me please, oh someone please, please tell me because I just don’t understand why that one little caged bird cries. Is he sad, is he lonely, is he discombobulated?
The poor little caged is lost on the road. Would someone please show him which way to go. I know why the caged bird sings. For a sign of faith that tomorrow brings.
FIRST SUNRISE, FIRST LOVE
My Heart facing the Horizon,
My eyes seeing the Sun rising
As this feeling rises in my Being
Disabling in me the Reason.
The Sun rising heats up my soul.
This Heat causes my heart to beat.
This beat should cause our paths to meet
Though their first crossing made me fool.
As the Sun enlightens the Earth,
So does Love cause my Heart to flame.
In this feeling there is no shame
Free in my Heart and Soul to surf.
This mood changes my character
Her image fuses with the Sun
And I face it and start to run
Going to my Love to conquer.

She tastes like rain
She is like the cool rain from a spring storm
I feel the thunder has her body moves from deep with in
Has I taste her rain drop’s
The thunder pounds deep with in my soul
You open your eye’s
She smiles has you look in to her sky’s
But then thats when you feel her thunder deep within
You close your eye’s again
She takes me back to a place I have once have been
She pulls me close and deep within
Then she screams from deep inside
She strikes down upone me
Like lighting from the sky
Only to start a burning deep inside
I can not hide
When the rain and the thunder stops
We both lay has hour glass shape’s
In the break of the morning day light
Colors of Life
Life is like crayons,
That gives attractions,
It is filled with colors and meanings,
And so interesting…
Life is like a rainbow,
That others doesn’t know,
It is full of excitement and glow,
Which will be remembered all day long…
From beginning till ending,
From sadness to happiness,
From failure to success.
GOD is always with us…here…there…and everywhere.
‘The colors of life will bring a shining light dreams…’
I have lived most of my life with individual expression and thought
At times sacrificed free will and allowed it to be bought.
My religion has been brought from out of the past
While life is the present and precedence does not last.
I understand that there has to be building blocks for life
But I question why the foundation caused so much strife?
I was taught to confess childhood sin
With a penance from man for a new life to begin.
Power and fear were the idols of my church and thusly so
Human compassion and forgiveness seldom did we know.
When I observed my pastor in military regalia go to the altar
I thought how cruel and therein did I falter.
That moment I lost my belief in a church I did chose
But I have faith in the eternal gift which I will never lose.
Over the years I have sat and listened to others
Mostly words from the past and seldom from my brothers.
